132: A 14k VICTORIAN LORGNETTE WITH DIAMONDS AND TOPAZ

A fine gold Victorian Lorgnette, the handle adorned with embossed linen fold designs each side of an oval citrine stone framed by four diamonds, the opposite side hand engraved with a swallow-tailed bird in descent over the word "Swallow", fleur-des-lis designs on the lower portion of the handle, marked 14k inside. Measures 4.5 inches, weight of 33 grams.
Very good condition, free from damage, repair or any indication of use or wear. The spring loaded mechanism operates smoothly and closes firmly.
