A Japanese Hirado ware porcelain sake ewer with dragon spout and handle, hand-painted underglaze blue design of plovers and waves, late 19th-early 20th century. Measures 6.75 x 9.25 inches.
Four porcelain claws are missing from the dragon. Scattered minor stain and discoloration within firing lines.
