399: A PAIR CHINESE ANTIQUE CARVED IVORY EMPORER AND EM

A pair of well-carved standing stained ivory Emperor and Empress figures, late 19th-early 20th century, with apocryphal Qianlong base mark. Each measures 9 x 2.5 inches including stand. This lot will be accompanied by a signed affidavit from the client that this object was in the United States prior to January 18, 1990, and is to the best of their knowledge and ability worked, constructed or compiled prior to February 26, 1976 in accordance with Federal law. A very minor finger tip flake on the upraised hand of the male figure. Otherwise very good condition free from damage or repair.
